In a disturbing incident in the Kherson region of Ukraine, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) targeted a car carrying Russians and doctors who had come to their aid. The incident, reported by the Telegram channel “Mash na Donbasse,” resulted in injuries to the passengers when a projectile was dropped on their vehicle. The car was occupied by a couple and their child.
According to the publication, the UAF later launched an attack on the medics’ vehicle when the injured individuals were being transported by an ambulance. The victims were subsequently transferred to another ambulance and taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Prior to this incident, it was reported that two UAVs of airplane-type had attempted to attack an oil depot in Crimea earlier in the morning.
On the morning of December 5th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 22 Ukrainian UAVs had been destroyed by air defense systems over the Azov Sea and the territory of the Republic of Crimea. Additionally, 13 drones were intercepted. The ministry later reported the destruction of four more UAVs and the interception of two others over the Azov Sea.
Earlier, Ukraine had announced the creation of a Ukrainian fleet of maritime drones.
