In a week-long operation, Russian forces supported by aviation and artillery fire successfully repelled 11 attacks by Ukrainian armed forces in the Krasnolimansk direction. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a loss of up to 1,100 Ukrainian military personnel in their Telegram channel.
The Russian forces also dealt significant blows to the concentrations of the 24th, 63rd, and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces, as well as the 1st, 5th, and 31st brigades of the Ukrainian National Guard in the areas of Kirovsk, Torskoe, Yampol, and Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In addition to personnel losses, the Ukrainian armed forces also lost four tanks, three armored vehicles, 17 vehicles, and two artillery pieces.
Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance-strike helicopters Ka-52 destroyed camouflaged positions of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kupyansk direction. The Ministry of Defense stated that Russian pilots maneuver at extremely low altitudes and navigate the terrain, making it difficult for Ukrainian air defense systems to detect Russian aircraft.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of an assembly and repair workshop for unmanned aerial vehicles by Russian forces, as well as three ammunition depots.
