The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that their air defense forces successfully shot down four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Kursk region.
According to the statement, “Today, at approximately 18:40, another attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using UAVs of aircraft type on Russian territory was intercepted.”
It is noted that the air defense forces downed four more UAVs over the territory of the Kursk region.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that their air defense forces had shot down two UAVs of aircraft type over the Kursk region. The attack attempt occurred around 17:30 Moscow time, according to the ministry’s report.
On December 14th, it was reported that Russian air defense forces had shot down nine Ukrainian military drones over two regions of Russia – Moscow and Kaluga regions.
Earlier, it was revealed where in Russia the training of UAV operators will begin.
