Units of the “Vostok” task force have eliminated six long-term firing positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the South Donetsk direction. This was announced by the head of the task force’s press center, Alexander Gordeev, as reported by TASS.
“The enemy’s losses amounted to up to 130 servicemen,” Gordeev specified.
He further explained that the strikes were carried out by aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrower systems. The enemy lost temporary positions of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the UAF in Novomykhailivka and the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade in the areas of Zolotaya Niva and Urozhaynoye.
Yesterday, the Kremlin stated that the UAF had lost its positions. According to Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian president, this process is inevitable. The Kremlin representative emphasized that there is no victory on the battlefield, and, on the contrary, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are rapidly losing their positions.
