Moscow, December 14 – Russian military forces have successfully repelled six attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the Donetsk region, according to a report by the Ministry of Defense on the progress of the special military operation. The Southern Group of Forces, with the support of artillery fire, successfully repelled the attacks by the 24th Mechanized Brigade, 5th Assault Brigade, and the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of Klescheevka and Kirovo. Furthermore, strikes were carried out against the positions of the 30th Mechanized Brigade, 79th and 95th Airborne Assault Brigades in the areas of Kurdiumovka, Maryinka, Krasnoe, and Andreevka. The enemy’s overall losses amounted to up to 265 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, three cars, two 2S3 “Akatsiya” self-propelled guns, three “Msta-B” howitzers, as well as one D-30 artillery gun. On the Southern Donetsk direction, the forces of the “Vostok” group struck the troops and equipment of the 72nd Airborne Assault Brigade in the area of Novomykhailivka. The enemy lost up to 90 people killed and wounded. On the Kupyansk direction, five attacks by assault groups of the 60th and 115th Mechanized Brigades, as well as the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the UAF, were repelled in the area of Synkovka. The enemy’s losses amounted to up to 45 servicemen. An attack by the 44th Separate Rifle Battalion of the UAF in the area of Yampolovka was repelled on the Krasnolimansk direction. The losses of the Ukrainian troops amounted to up to 180 servicemen, three cars, and the Caezar self-propelled artillery. Russian units struck the positions of the 33rd and 65th Mechanized Brigades of the UAF in the Rabotino area on the Zaporizhzhia direction. Ukrainian forces lost up to 45 servicemen and two cars over the course of the day. On the Kherson direction, as a result of the skillful actions of Russian units, artillery fire, and air strikes, the enemy’s losses amounted to up to 40 servicemen and four cars.
