Russian President Vladimir Putin has provided an assessment of the current situation on the frontlines of the armed conflict with Ukraine. According to the head of state, the armed forces have been improving their position along the entire line of contact, based on conservative estimates.
Putin also emphasized that peace will be achieved in Ukraine only when Russia achieves its goals in the special military operation. He further explained the significance of sovereignty for Russia, stating that a country like Russia cannot exist without sovereignty.
Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesperson, revealed that the Russian leader had been preparing for the final press conference since the evening of December 12. According to Kremlin representatives, all inquiries from Russian citizens received through the direct line with the President of Russia are being processed by the representatives of the All-Russian People’s Front (ONF). Peskov highlighted that anyone who presents a specific question will receive either information or the necessary actions to address the issue as a response.
Earlier reports mentioned that certain streets in Moscow will be closed due to the President’s speech.
