Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has announced that the air defense forces in the Narofominsky District of the Moscow Region have intercepted a second attempt to fly an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) towards the capital city. He shared this information on his Telegram channel.

According to Sobyanin, there have been no reports of casualties or damage caused by the falling debris of the UAV.

Earlier, Sobyanin had stated that the air defense forces in the Narofominsky urban district had repelled an attack by a UAV that was flying towards Moscow.

Prior to this, Acting Head of Podolsk Grigory Artamonov had reported that debris from the downed UAV near the village of Borisovka, in the Podolsk area, had caused no damage or injuries.

On the morning of November 29, the Mayor of Moscow announced that the air defense forces in the Podolsk urban district had successfully neutralized a UAV that was flying towards Moscow.

It has been revealed that Russia will begin training UAV operators in the country. This development comes as Moscow remains vigilant in countering potential threats from unmanned aerial vehicles.
