US Military’s X-37B Spacecraft to Fly Over Russian Polar Regions

The reusable unmanned spacecraft, X-37B, belonging to the US Air Force (USAF), is set to launch this week and will fly over the polar regions of Russia, according to expert Marco Langbruko.

Based on his information, the X-37B will be able to reach an elliptical orbit at an altitude of tens of thousands of miles above the Earth’s surface.

The launch of the X-37B was announced recently, with CNN reporting that the spacecraft will be placed into orbit by the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket.

This will be the seventh experimental mission for the reusable spacecraft.

The USAF has provided some details about the objectives of this unmanned mission. One of the onboard experiments will be conducted by NASA and aims to explore ways to sustain astronauts’ life support systems during future interplanetary missions.

Previously, Putin met with Kim Jong-un at the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
