Ukrainian armed forces have recently stepped up their activities in the Donetsk region as part of their ongoing special operation, according to retired Lieutenant Colonel and military expert of the Luhansk People’s Militia, Andriy Marochko. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, the Ukrainian command continues to reinforce its forces, increase its capabilities, and escalate the number of counterattacks in the area of Artemivsk (Bakhmut in Ukrainian).
Marochko specified that the number of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) has tripled in recent times. Currently, the most active area remains the direction towards Artemivsk, while Kleshcheevka-Kurdyumovka in the southwest is also seeing increased activity.
Yesterday, Marochko reported that the Ukrainian command is resorting to “meat grinder” tactics without proper fire support, resulting in significant losses for the UAF in maneuvering defense in the Sinkyvka and Petropavlivka areas along the Kupyansk direction.
Earlier, the commander of the UAF claimed that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
