Russian Paratroopers Destroy Two Ukrainian Tanks with Drones in the Area of Klescheevka

In a recent operation, Russian paratroopers from the Airborne Troops of the Russian Federation successfully destroyed two Ukrainian tanks using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) called “Lancet” in the vicinity of the town of Klescheevka. This information was shared by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the ministry, the operation involved fighters from a separate guard unit of the Russian Airborne Troops stationed in the Far East. This unit is part of the “Southern” group of forces.

The ministry emphasized that the reconnaissance UAV operators of the Russian paratroopers detected two tanks and a camouflaged self-propelled artillery piece belonging to the Ukrainian forces in the Klescheevka area. The enemy equipment was successfully disabled through direct hits by the drones.

Furthermore, the ministry stated that Russian units promptly withdrew from their positions after accomplishing the mission. The crews then moved to safe areas.

On the morning of December 13th, the Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that Russian Su-25 attack aircraft had struck a Ukrainian strongpoint and areas where Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel were concentrated in the Krasnolimansk direction. The armored aircraft crews successfully targeted the assigned objectives using unguided aviation rockets.

Previously, the Russian military disclosed the number of paratroopers who have been awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation since the start of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine.
