Ukrainian Forces Shift to Defensive Strategy, Concerns Over Key Rail Logistic Center

In a recent development, Colonel Gennady Alekhin has revealed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have transitioned to a defensive stance. This update comes as the Ukrainian military strengthens its positions along the Kupyansk direction, where fortifications are being constructed. Alekhin, a retired colonel, also voiced doubts about the ability of Ukrainian troops to maintain control over the left bank of the Oskol River and the tributary of Zherebets.

The primary focus for the Ukrainian forces appears to be the preservation of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, a vital rail logistic center. However, they are also engaged in the repositioning of their units, shifting them from one direction to another. For instance, troops are being moved from Artemovsk, near Kupyansk, while others are being relocated from Zaporizhia to Avdiivka. Additionally, units from Pavlohrad are being transferred to Kupyansk. These movements indicate a dynamic and fluid situation on the ground.

Prior to this, General Alexander Syrsky, the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, had highlighted the ongoing offensive actions of the Russian army across the entire front. This reinforces concerns about the precarious position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, in the United States, one of the greatest threats to the UAF has been identified. Further details about this threat and its implications remain undisclosed.

As tensions persist in Ukraine and the conflict continues, it is crucial to closely monitor the evolving situation and its potential impact on regional stability.
