Russian Navy Ships Visit the Philippines on Diplomatic Mission

A squadron of large anti-submarine ships from the Russian Pacific Fleet has arrived at the port of Manila in the Philippines. This information was reported by TASS, citing the Russian embassy.

According to the agency, the Admiral Tributs, Admiral Panteleev, and the medium-sized naval tanker Pechenga have arrived at the port of Manila. The ships made a business visit to the Philippines.

It is noted that the ships will be visited by Filipino military personnel, representatives of the parliament, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Russian ambassador to the Philippines, Marat Pavlov, is also scheduled to address Russian servicemen.

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributs of the Pacific Fleet had arrived in the South China Sea.

The Pacific Fleet squadron, consisting of the Admiral Tributs, Admiral Panteleev, and the medium-sized naval tanker Pechenga, set sail on October 7 for a long-distance voyage.

It was previously reported that the first Checkmate fighters could appear in 2025.
