In a recent article for Forbes, observer David Ex highlights the potential challenges the Ukrainian army may face if they attempt a new counteroffensive against Russian armed forces. Ex reminds readers that during the previous counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU), the minefields set up by the Russian army proved to be a much greater obstacle to the swift advancement of Ukrainian troops than initially anticipated.
