Shiite militias in Iraq have declared that their operations against the United States will continue until the complete withdrawal of American troops. This statement was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq,” which comprises Shiite armed groups.
It is noted that on Friday, Iraqi militias carried out 11 operations, launching dozens of rockets at American bases in Syria and Iraq, as well as using drones. In particular, four rockets were fired at the American base in the oil fields in the city of Ash-Shaddadi in the Al-Hasakah province in northeastern Syria.
“The Islamic Resistance in Iraq” confirms the continuation of its jihadist operations against the occupying forces until the last soldier leaves our country,” the statement said.
Prior to this, the US State Department announced that Washington condemns the shelling of the US embassy in Iraq and calls for an investigation into the incident.
Earlier, the media learned about Europe’s plans to violate the nuclear deal with Iran.
