In a recent development, the Russian army has launched a strike on the gathering point of the tactical groups “Katran” and “Omaha” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), as well as destroying a fuel depot for armored vehicles. This information was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The location of the command units was targeted and hit by strikes from operational-tactical and army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the coordinated efforts of the missile forces and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces, stated the Ministry.
According to the Ministry of Defense, during the past day, enemy personnel and equipment were struck in 128 areas.
Overall, since the start of the operation, the following have been destroyed: 550 aircraft, 257 helicopters, 9608 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 anti-aircraft missile complexes, and 13955 tanks, added the Ministry.
Prior to this, Russian forces had targeted ammunition production sites for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, utilizing precision weaponry.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense announced that approximately 20 pieces of various equipment have been rendered inoperable over the past week on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.
Earlier, it was reported that a UAF brigade was hit during a ceremony to honor its personnel.
