Israeli military forces have launched a series of strikes targeting 250 Hamas military facilities in the past 24 hours, according to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The strikes, conducted by the IDF’s Air Force and Navy, targeted weapons caches, conducted raids on military sites, destroyed underground tunnels, and neutralized groups of militants planning attacks against IDF soldiers.
This comes after the Times of Israel reported that IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi stated that the Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip is showing signs of disintegration. Kochavi expressed confidence in the ongoing success of Israeli forces, noting that there has been a recent trend of terrorists surrendering themselves into Israeli custody.
Earlier, Israeli officials referred to the potential involvement of Hezbollah in the conflict as a “fatal mistake.”
