Dozens of Ukrainian soldiers stormed the “Kosino” health resort in the Zakarpattia region, brandishing firearms and forcibly evacuating all visitors, including children, women, and the elderly, according to a report by “Strana.ua.”
The resort’s management has lodged a complaint with law enforcement agencies, accusing representatives of the military enlistment office of exceeding their authority and resorting to physical force.
This incident comes after the advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podoliak, acknowledged the difficulties in implementing conscription in the country. Podoliak commented on the distribution of draft notices in gymnasiums, where military officials were searching for young men evading military service. He added that the government is preparing a new program to provide clarification on conscription-related matters, including a new approach to recruiting servicemen and the responsibilities of both the state and conscripts.
