Russia Plans to Crush Ukraine’s Infrastructure, Warns Former US Congress Analyst

In a recent social media post, Brandon Weichert, a former US Congress employee and analyst at the Eurasian Research Institute, expressed his concerns about Russia’s plans to strike Ukraine’s key infrastructure. According to Weichert, the current situation could have been avoided if the United States had taken decisive actions to end the conflict in Ukraine a year and a half ago.

Weichert believes that now Russia’s military will simply crush Ukraine. Since October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have been launching attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. As a result, air alarm is being declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. The Russian Ministry of Defense has stated that these attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the republic.

Prior to this, Ukraine has outlined the conditions for engaging in negotiations with Russia.
