Georgia Congressman Decorates Office with Festive Display Targeting Biden and More

Rep. Mike Collins of Georgia has taken his office Christmas decorations to a whole new level by using them to send a message to President Joe Biden. The halls of the Longworth House Office Building have been transformed into a Christmas wonderland, with lawmakers competing to outdo each other with festive displays. Collins’ office features a life-size cardboard cutout of Hunter Biden, the president’s son, holding a sign that says “Let it snow.” The creative display was made by a Georgia-based company, adding a local touch to the decorations.

Collins, a first-term House Republican, explained that the second floor of the building is known for its annual Christmas decoration competition. He and his staff were determined to make a statement with their display. In addition to the Hunter Biden cutout, the office includes a Christmas tree adorned with tributes to Georgia and internet memes shared by Collins throughout the year. Some of the gifts under the tree are addressed to reported aliases of Biden, such as “The Big Guy,” while one gift bears the name of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The display doesn’t stop there. Collins also took the opportunity to poke fun at his fellow House Republicans’ chaos over the speaker position. The office features various references to his own Georgia-based trucking company, from tree ornaments to a blow-up candy truck with the phrase “Keep on truckin’.” Additionally, liberal figures and memes are represented by hanging “snowflakes” from the ceiling.

Collins emphasized that the display was meant to be lighthearted and entertaining. “We like poking fun at everybody,” he said. “We just had a lot of fun.” The congressman’s spokesperson revealed that the intricate display was set up overnight by the “Collins elves.”

Rep. Mike Collins’ creative office decorations have attracted attention and sparked conversation, highlighting the ongoing political dynamics in the United States. The display not only brings some holiday cheer to the halls of Congress but also serves as a reminder of the current political climate and the various figures and issues that have captured public attention.
