Explosion in Mirgorod: Infrastructure Damage Reported in Ukraine

An explosion has occurred in the city of Mirgorod, located in the Poltava region of Ukraine. This incident was reported by Ukrainian television channel “5” in their Telegram channel.

The message simply stated, “Explosion in Mirgorod.”

On December 4th, Vitaliy Kim, the head of the regional military administration in the Nikolaev region, reported damage to an infrastructure building and power lines.

According to Kim, the damage occurred overnight on December 4th in the Bashtansky district of the region. The infrastructure building and power lines were affected.

On October 10th, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air raid sirens have been sounding daily in various regions of Ukraine, often across the entire country. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that these attacks are targeting energy facilities, defense industries, military command, and communication centers.

Earlier, the United States identified these attacks as one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
