Six civilians have been injured as a result of the shelling conducted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) city of Gorlovka. The mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko, reported this in his Telegram channel.

“The number of injured Gorlovka residents has increased to six,” wrote the mayor.

Additionally, several houses were damaged following the shelling of the mining settlement of Kochegarka, he added.

Prikhodko has not yet provided any further information.

Shortly before this, the DPR representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s military crimes stated that the AFU had shelled Donetsk, Makeevka, and Gorlovka, firing a total of 24 projectiles at residential areas, including cluster munitions with a caliber of 155mm and four projectiles with a caliber of 152mm.

It was previously reported that the AFU was preparing to launch an attack near Gorlovka in the DPR.
