Russian Attacks on Ukrainian Infrastructure Continue, Air Alert Zone Expands

The air alert zone has expanded to the regions of Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia in Ukraine, located in the western and central parts of the country respectively. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The Russian Armed Forces have started targeting Ukrainian infrastructure since October 10, 2022 – two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. The attacks are being carried out on objects related to the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, air alerts have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire territory.

Some time ago, the local newspaper Klymenko Time reported on explosions in the Ukrainian city of Kherson. Prior to this, local media had written about a series of explosions in Kryvyi Rih, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine.

Earlier, President Zelensky revealed the challenges faced by Ukraine in extending the military operations onto Russian territory.
