Russian air defense forces have reportedly destroyed 76 Ukrainian drones, eight HIMARS missiles, and a guided aviation bomb JDAM within a day. This information was shared by the Russian Ministry of Defense through their Telegram channel.
The aerial vehicles were targeted in the areas of Ilchenkovo, Novoe, Kharkovo, Mirnoe, and Peremozhnoe in the Zaporizhia region; Sagi and Radensk in the Kherson region; Vladimirovka and Kirillovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR); and Belogorovka and Shipilovka in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the ongoing special military operation has resulted in the destruction of a total of 549 aircraft, 257 helicopters, and 9,541 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Furthermore, the Ministry also reported that Russian Mi-28N “Night Hunter” helicopters launched attacks on key positions and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk direction. The helicopters approached the target area at an extremely low altitude after takeoff and engaged using aviation strike weapons. The Mi-28N pilots targeted the identified targets, launched missiles, and then, after performing anti-missile maneuvers, returned to their original course.
