In the midst of the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, Israel has received its 200th cargo plane filled with military equipment from the United States. The Ministry of Defense in Israel announced the arrival of the milestone aircraft, which will provide crucial support to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), also known as the IDF.
According to the ministry’s press release, a total of 10,000 tons of military equipment have been received from the United States since the start of the hostilities in the Gaza sector. This includes armored vehicles, weapons, personal protective gear, medicines, ammunition, and more.
The ministry emphasized that the significant quantity of military supplies underscores the unity and coordination between the Israeli Ministry of Defense, the Production and Procurement Directorate, as well as the Planning, Technology, and Logistics Departments of the IDF.
Earlier, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, warned that Israel’s tactical victory in the Gaza sector could potentially result in a strategic defeat if the Palestinian population aligns with the Hamas group.
Furthermore, the United States has stated that President Biden is effectively leading Israel’s operation in Gaza.
This latest shipment of military aid from the U.S. to Israel highlights the ongoing support from the Trump administration and reinforces the close relationship between the two countries.
