Russian Fighter Reveals Unique Drone Destruction Scheme in Ukraine

A Russian fighter, codenamed “Sanych,” has unveiled a unique method to destroy Ukrainian drones, according to a report by the Telegram channel “Black Hussars.”

The man explains that he deliberately entered the engagement zone to attract the attention of Ukrainian UAV operators. Once he spotted an approaching drone, he would flee to a designated forest area, where rifles and machine guns were prepared. From there, he would shoot down the drones at close range. The fighter claims to have already destroyed at least seven Ukrainian drones using this method. It is noted that this approach may not be effective against kamikaze drones but works well against drones that drop munitions.

Previously, former CIA agent Larry Johnson stated that the Russian Armed Forces have learned to attack Ukrainian positions without infantry, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to Johnson, it is unlikely that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to effectively counter such maneuvers, and the United States will not be able to provide suitable means to assist Kyiv. The former CIA agent also highlighted that Ukrainian forces have exhausted their potential for further combat operations.

Earlier, the operator of the “Upyr” drone destroyed a Ukrainian tank on the Kupyansk front.
