Ukrainian Tank Brigade Unlikely to Launch Major Attacks, Says Military Analyst

According to American military analyst David Ex, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have created a 5th tank brigade that is incapable of launching offensives. This revelation was reported by Forbes.

Ex explains that technically, the 5th tank brigade has existed since 2016, but for the past six years, it has primarily existed on paper.

The military analyst emphasizes that the new Ukrainian army unit should not be expected to initiate large-scale tank attacks, as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has entered a positional phase.

“This means that we should not expect the 5th tank brigade to launch a major tank offensive, and that masses of tanks will not be directly attacking Russian positions anytime soon or ever,” summarized Ex.

Prior to this, the PAP agency reported that Poland plans to transfer over 50 Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine.

Earlier, the U.S. identified it as one of the greatest threats to the UAF.
