Commander of the Fire Platoon of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the Southern Group of Forces, with the call sign “White,” has revealed that the upgraded guided projectiles known as “Krasnopol” have shown their effectiveness in the special operation zone. He shared this information with RIA Novosti.
“The warhead is present, contacts are established, data is entered, and the shot is fired… It is a very dangerous and worthy weapon,” the military officer noted.
He added that his soldiers actively utilize the high-precision “Krasnopol” projectiles. For instance, Russian soldiers successfully hit a mobile 120mm mortar using this weapon.
A fellow serviceman with the call sign “Barmaley” highlighted that this projectile is guided by the “Orlan” unmanned aerial vehicle and boasts high accuracy.
Prior to this, military correspondent Boris Rozhin reported that the Russian Armed Forces have introduced a new thermobaric ammunition for the “Geran” unmanned aerial vehicle, replacing the conventional high explosive shell. The military journalist also emphasized that the enemy views such innovations unfavorably.
