Low Morale and Poor Training: Ukrainian Soldiers Fleeing Artemovskoye Indicates Serious Issues in their Army

The recent incident of Ukrainian soldiers fleeing during the assault on Artemovskoye is being attributed to the low morale and inadequate training of the troops in that particular sector of the front. Military expert and director of the Air Defense Forces Museum, Yuri Knutov, highlighted this observation in an interview with “Lenta.ru.”

According to Knutov, many Ukrainian soldiers are in a state of panic. “This flight indicates low moral qualities and poor levels of preparation within the Ukrainian army. When people are mobilized and not properly trained, but are immediately sent to the front lines, panic ensues,” explained Knutov.

In such a state, soldiers abandon their injured comrades, leave behind their weapons, and flee. Knutov firmly believes that all of this points to the Ukrainian army being composed of poorly trained fighters. He speculated that these future soldiers were forcibly mobilized and hastily deployed to the front.

Prior to this incident, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had fled from Artemovskoye, leaving their wounded behind.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense had announced the destruction of Ukrainian military positions and the accumulation of their equipment.
