Israeli Army Launches Offensive in Palestinian City of Jenin

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have begun the assault on the Palestinian city of Jenin in the West Bank, according to Al Jazeera. The IDF is utilizing 50 units of equipment, including heavy bulldozers, in their offensive. Israeli snipers have taken positions in various parts of Jenin.

Al Jazeera notes that one of the targets of the assault is the government hospital in the city, as well as a local refugee camp. It is reported that clashes are currently taking place in the center of Jenin between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians.

On December 2, it was reported that the Israeli army conducted raids in Palestinian cities in the West Bank. According to Al Jazeera, the IDF stormed the city of Hebron.

Prior to this, the Syrian channel Al Ikhbariya reported that Israeli forces attacked the outskirts of Damascus.

On November 19, the IDF launched large-scale assaults on cities in the West Bank. The Israeli Defense Forces attacked the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Sahour, and Hebron in the southern region, as well as Qalqilya, Tubas, and Jenin in the north.

Earlier, Hamas claimed that the West has erected an “impenetrable wall” between itself and the Arab world.
