“The fighters of the Islamic resistance carried out these operations in response to the aggression of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip,” the statement said. Hezbollah added that all enemy targets were successfully hit.
The Israeli army, in turn, reported that the air force struck one of Hezbollah’s weapon depots on Lebanese territory in response to mortar shelling. Artillery fire was also opened on the populated areas of Ait al-Shaab, Deir Mimas, Kafr Kila, Tellet Hamamis, El Hiam, and El Edeisa.
