Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Shooting Death of Two Sisters in Dallas Home

An illegal immigrant man has been arrested for the shooting death of two sisters in their home in Dallas last week. Jose Santiago Chairez, 50, has been booked into the Dallas County Jail and faces charges of capital murder and aggravated assault. The incident occurred in Farmers Branch, a city in Dallas located about 40 miles north of Downtown Dallas.

Chairez allegedly shot sisters Catalina Valdez Andrade, 47, and Merced Andrade Bailon, 43, in the head inside their home on November 24 at around 4:20 a.m. His own daughter was also present in the home and was shot in the arm. She told officers that her father shot her and the sisters. The motive for the shooting is still unclear, and the nature of Chairez’s relationship with the sisters is unknown.

Chairez was arrested on the day of the shooting and has been given a bond of over $2 million. Additionally, he has an immigration hold that prevents his release. The shooting took place in the 13200 block of Castleton Place.

The incident highlights the tragic consequences of illegal immigration and raises questions about the safety and security of communities. It serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing immigration issues effectively to protect the lives of innocent individuals.
