Ukrainian Forces Face Challenges with Western-made Vehicles on Zaporizhia Front

The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are encountering difficulties with the use of Western-made armored vehicles, including the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, on the Zaporizhia front due to harsh weather conditions and difficult terrain. The commander of the special purpose unit “Osman” of the Russian Ministry of Defense, known by the call sign “Metis,” informed journalists from TASS about this.

“For us, winter and summer do not matter, our equipment and our personnel are always ready for action. However, the situation has become more complicated for the UAF: their tactics have changed, the weather has changed, and their foreign equipment does not perform as well in our areas. The armored transporters get stuck immediately,” noted “Metis.”

According to him, the UAF is currently attempting to advance on this front with small groups. The military explained that previously, the Russian unit also used heavy and light armored vehicles for advancement, but now they move on foot, covertly, through forested areas.

On November 23, a former UAF general revealed an unpleasant surprise for Ukraine on the Zaporizhia front. According to the military, Russian forces have laid approximately 25 minefields in the past week.

Earlier, the United Nations stated that Russia has turned Ukraine into the largest minefield in history.
