Pro-Palestinian Protestors Disrupt Traffic on Manhattan Bridge in Demand for Gaza Ceasefire

Hundreds of New York City demonstrators gathered in Brooklyn to show support for Palestine as the war between Hamas terrorists and Israel enters its second month. On Sunday, these pro-Palestinian protestors took their cause to the streets and shut down the Manhattan Bridge, causing chaos during one of the busiest travel days of the year.

The protestors demanded a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and their actions resulted in a complete standstill on the bridge, leaving drivers frustrated and causing traffic congestion. Despite supporting the protest, some individuals expressed concerns about the bridge being blocked. Reports indicated that loud honking and yelling could be heard as cars piled up on the bridge.

The NYPD intervened and made several arrests, leading to the eventual reopening of the bridge. However, an exact number of arrests was not immediately provided by the police spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas was extended as the militants released 11 more hostages. These released hostages were either handed over directly to Israel or exited through Egypt.

The disruption caused by the pro-Palestinian protestors on the Manhattan Bridge highlights the ongoing tensions and demonstrations surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict. It also emphasizes the strong support for Palestine within certain communities in New York City.
