American entrepreneur and founder of Tesla, as well as owner of the social media platform X, Elon Musk, has arrived in Israel for a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Times of Israel reports on this significant visit.
Musk and the Prime Minister visited the Kfar Aza kibbutz, which suffered the most from the attack by the Palestinian movement Hamas on October 7th. Musk was shown the consequences of the assault.
Prior to this, the Israeli Minister of Communication, Shlomo Karhi, announced that the country has a preliminary agreement with the American businessman and owner of the social media platform X, Elon Musk, regarding the use of Starlink satellite communication in the Gaza Strip.
The situation in the Middle East escalated after thousands of Hamas militants infiltrated from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on October 7th, when Hamas announced the beginning of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is in a state of war.
