Ukraine Accuses Russia of Attacks on Infrastructure, Videos of Air Defense Operations Restricted

The Ukrainian Air Force has made it clear that it has no objections to the videos released by The Sun and Reuters, showing footage of air defense operations over Kiev on the night of November 25. According to Yuriy Ignat, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, these videos do not contain any “sensitive information” and do not reveal the exact location of the missile launch.

Ignat further explained that the enemy may have access to the same videos from multiple angles, and by cross-referencing those angles, they can accurately determine the origin of the launch. This is the reason for the restriction on the publication of videos showing air defense operations and drone strikes, as it could pose a threat to the safety of citizens in the country.

On November 25, around 7:09 am Moscow time, Ukrainian news outlet “Mirror Weekly” reported explosions in Kiev. Later, it was confirmed that a fire had broken out in a 100-square-meter area in Kiev. According to “Ukrenergo,” the Ukrainian power grid operator, the country’s main power lines were damaged.

Based on available information, on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air raid sirens have been sounding daily in various regions of Ukraine, often covering the entire country. According to the Ministry of Defense, these attacks are aimed at targets in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication.

Earlier, the office of Ukrainian President Zelensky warned Russia of retaliation for the explosions in Ukraine.
