Russian Defense Forces Intercept Drones Over Moscow and Kaluga Regions

In a recent announcement, Governor Andrei Vorobyov of the Moscow Region revealed that five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) were intercepted over four municipalities in the Moscow Region. This information was shared through Vorobyov’s Telegram channel.

“Last night, five UAVs were intercepted by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense over the municipalities of Naro-Fominsky, Odintsovsky, Ramensky, and Podolsky,” stated the official.

Vorobyov also mentioned that three structures on the ground were damaged but emphasized that no casualties were reported. He urged residents to remain calm and composed.

Additionally, Governor Vladislav Shapsha of the Kaluga Region reported that Russian air defense systems successfully neutralized unmanned aerial vehicles in two districts of the Kaluga Region on the morning of November 26.

This incident comes after half of Donetsk and Mariupol experienced power outages following an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Previously, the office of President Zelensky had issued a warning to Russia, vowing retribution for the explosions in Ukraine.
