Hamas Confirms Commitment to Humanitarian Agreement with Israel

Hamas, the Palestinian radical group, has confirmed its readiness to continue implementing the humanitarian agreement on hostage and prisoner exchange with Israel. This information was stated in a declaration posted on the movement’s official Telegram channel.

“Hamas has responded to the efforts of Egypt and Qatar, which were undertaken to secure a temporary ceasefire agreement,” the publication states.

According to the press service, Hamas highly appreciates the efforts of both states in order to continue implementing the humanitarian ceasefire agreement.

Yesterday, Hamas released the first 12 hostages from Thailand and 13 Israeli citizens from captivity in the Gaza Strip.

On November 25, a Qatari delegation visited Israel to discuss the extension of the ceasefire in Gaza. According to sources from the Al Hadath TV channel, one of the members of the Qatari delegation went to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone. The delegation aimed to exert pressure on Hamas to fulfill the agreement with Israel.

Earlier, the United States named those who helped negotiate the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
