Russian military personnel, supported by combat aircraft and artillery fire, have successfully repelled two attacks by assault groups from the 117th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of the town of Novoprokopivka in the Zaporizhia region. This information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The clashes occurred near Novoprokopivka, a populated area in the Zaporizhia region. Additionally, Russian forces launched strikes against personnel and equipment belonging to the 33rd and 65th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the town of Rabotyno in the Zaporizhia region.
On this particular front, Ukrainian troops have suffered more than 40 casualties, including the loss of two tanks, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, and an M-46 gun.
Yesterday, it was reported that Russian military personnel on the Zaporizhia front repelled 11 attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Rabotyno and Verbovoye. Furthermore, they inflicted damage on personnel and equipment belonging to the 71st Jäger, 82nd Air Assault, 33rd, 65th, and 118th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian troops.
Earlier, drones named “Zhirinovsky” were spotted in the area of the Joint Forces Operation.
