Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued decrees dismissing four deputy commanders of the National Guard, according to TASS.
The documents state that Commander Vladimir Kondratyuk and three deputies – Alexander Nabok, Oleg Sakhon, and Nikolay Nikolenko – have been relieved of their duties. Meanwhile, Vadim Gladkov has been appointed as the new first deputy commander of the National Guard, with Alexander Belous and Alexey Osipenko serving as deputies.
The reasons for these personnel changes have not been disclosed.
On November 17, it was announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had dismissed Alexander Tarasovsky, the deputy head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service.
Earlier, Member of Parliament Yevhen Shevchenko stated that Valeriy Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, should resign due to the failed counteroffensive.
Prior to this, Major General Viktor Khorenko, the commander of Ukraine’s special operations forces, was also sent into retirement.
Previously, a sci-fi writer had taken over the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
