Commander of the Grad multiple rocket launcher unit in the Dnipro military group, with the call sign “Rotor,” has reported that Russian military forces in the Kherson direction of the special operation zone are increasingly encountering weapons supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
The military officer noted that practically all of the weapons, including drones, are of NATO origin. The commander also pointed out that reconnaissance drone operators and Grad rocket launcher units of the Dnipro military group of the Armed Forces of Russia are monitoring the situation in the area of the Antonov Bridge in Kherson region and preventing attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out landings on the left bank of the Dnieper River.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense reported “colossal” losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region. The Marine Corps units and special operations forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering “colossal” losses in the Kherson direction, stated Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. According to the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldov, the losses suffered by Ukrainians here are not just large, but monstrous. Saldov claims that “mercenaries from paramilitary units” are shooting at evacuated severely wounded soldiers. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also reports heavy fighting.
The Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, became part of the Russian Federation following referendums held in September 2022. Military rule has been imposed in these regions since October 20.
