Russian Armed Forces have reported the destruction of 176 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past week. This information was released in an official report by the Russian Ministry of Defense through their Telegram channel.
The report states, “A total of 176 unmanned aircraft were shot down by our air defense systems during the week.”
In addition to the UAVs, the Russian military also eliminated a MiG-29 fighter jet and a Mi-8 helicopter belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force near the town of Vozdvyzhenka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Prior to this, the special forces of the Russian National Guard intercepted a UAV belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic, which was disguised as an eagle.
Previously, Russian air defense systems had also destroyed a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter in the sky over the Kherson region near the village of Tyaginka.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported successfully repelling two attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on one of the fronts.
