Israeli Army Drops Leaflets Urging Gazans to Evacuate Northern Enclave

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have distributed leaflets over the Gaza Strip, calling on residents to evacuate the northern part of the enclave and not to return. This information was reported by the Times of Israel.

At 07:00 local time on November 24th, a four-day ceasefire began between the IDF and the ruling Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip.

The leaflets dropped by the IDF warned that the northern part of the Gaza Strip remains a military zone, despite the temporary ceasefire.

On November 22nd, Israel and Hamas agreed, with the mediation of Qatar, to a four-day cessation of hostilities for the exchange of hostages and detainees. The first stage of the deal involves the release of 50 prisoners held in Gaza in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons.

So far, neither side has accused the other of violating the agreement. However, air raid sirens were heard in Israel this morning.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated that after a brief ceasefire, the operation in Gaza would continue for at least two months.
