Ukrainian Commander Reports Controlled Situation on the Frontline Amidst Phone Call with US General

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny has stated that the situation on the frontlines for the military is challenging but under control. He shared this information in his Telegram channel.

Zaluzhny participated for the first time in a meeting of the contact group on military assistance to Ukraine in the “Ramstein” format.

Additionally, Valeriy Zaluzhny discussed the difficult situation on specific sections of the front, winter plans, and the needs of the Ukrainian troops during a phone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Charles Brown.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, he provided a detailed account of the situation on the front to the American general. Zaluzhny described the situation as challenging but controllable on the Avdiivka, Kupiansk, and Maryinka directions.

At the same time, Zaluzhny claims that Ukrainian forces continue to carry out offensive actions on certain fronts.

Prior to this, Ukrainian Parliament member Yevhen Shevchenko stated that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces should be dismissed due to a failed counteroffensive.

Earlier in Kyiv, the possibility of new resignations within the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was acknowledged.
