Russian Forces Install Mined Fields, Posing Threat to Ukrainian Troops on Zaporizhzhia Front

In a recent interview on the television channel “Pravda,” retired Ukrainian Armed Forces General Serhiy Krivonos revealed that the presence of mined fields has become an unpleasant surprise for Ukrainian troops on the Zaporizhzhia front.

According to the military official, Russian forces have installed approximately 25 mined fields in the past week alone. Krivonos emphasized that Moscow has established a powerful network of training centers for officer preparation. He also praised their work and acknowledged that the Russian leadership is actively and effectively mobilizing resources.

Previously, Business Insider reported that the Russian combat helicopter Ka-52 “Alligator” has become a serious threat to Ukrainian troops on the front lines.

On November 14th, the Polish publication Myśl Polska highlighted how the tactics employed by Russian military personnel disrupted the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Zaporizhzhia front.

Furthermore, on November 16th, it was reported that Russian forces broke through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Avdiivka area and entered the city from the north.

Prior to these events, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, expressed concerns about the challenging situation on the front lines.

Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier expressed confusion about the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
