Moscow, November 23 – A pair of Russian Su-25 attack aircraft destroyed disguised fortified positions and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the South Donetsk region, as reported by the Ministry of Defense. “The crews of the attack aviation conducted missile strikes on military targets and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the South Donetsk direction. As a result of the combat operation, disguised fortified field positions and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed,” the statement said. It is specified that the missile launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes. After using the aviation means of attack, the crews performed maneuvers, released thermal traps, and returned to the departure airfield, as stated by the Ministry. On Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense reported a successful repulsion of an attack by the assault group of the 127th territorial defense brigade in the area of Priyutne (Zaporizhia region). Russian military forces also targeted positions of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Novomykhailivka (DNR). As a result, the Ukrainian side lost at least 60 servicemen, two combat armored vehicles, and two cars.
