In the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have suffered significant losses on the Donetsk front, according to a report from the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram.
The defense ministry stated that the Russian army successfully repelled two attacks from the assault group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Klescheevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Additionally, near the settlements of Razdolovka, Kurdyumovka, and Vasyukovka in the DPR, the Russian Armed Forces dealt a blow to the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s mechanized brigades.
“The enemy’s losses on this front amounted to up to 280 servicemen,” the publication stated.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also lost three tanks, one combat vehicle, and four pickups, as well as one “MSTA-B” howitzer, one self-propelled gun “Hyacinth,” and three D-30 howitzers, according to the press service.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense press service announced that Russian military forces repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Priyutnoye area on the South Donetsk front, destroying the assault group’s defensive positions.
Earlier, Russian Su-25 aircraft destroyed camouflaged Ukrainian armored vehicles on the South Donetsk front.
