Israel Vows to Continue the War in Gaza Until Victory

In a recent briefing with commanders from the 36th Division of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi stated that Israel has no plans to end the war in the Gaza Strip and will continue its operations until victory. The IDF aims to advance further into Hamas-controlled areas. The announcement was made by the IDF spokesperson.

“We are not ending the war. We will continue until victory, advancing and continuing operations in other areas controlled by Hamas,” said Kochavi.

The Chief of Staff emphasized that one of the main objectives of the operation in the Gaza Strip is the release of all hostages held by Hamas.

“We are trying to align the goals of the war so that the pressure from the ground operation will lead to the conditions for the release of the abducted hostages,” Kochavi addressed the soldiers.

The Chairman of the Israeli National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, stated that the release of the hostages from the Gaza Strip will not begin before November 24.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the IDF will resume military actions in case of a ceasefire violation in the Gaza Strip.
