Israel and Palestine Agree on Prisoner Release as Part of Ceasefire Deal

Israel and Palestine have reached an agreement on a ceasefire that includes the release of 39 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons on November 24th. This information was reported by the Egyptian newspaper Al-Youm As-Sabia, citing an official source familiar with the situation.

According to the article, “13 Israelis and 39 Palestinians will be released tomorrow.”

The released prisoners include women and children, as stated by the publication.

The article also highlights that Egypt will double the amount of aid being sent to the Gaza Strip during the ceasefire.

Earlier, a member of the leadership of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, Basem Naim, stated that Qatar, Egypt, and the United States are acting as guarantors of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which will take effect on November 24th.

Israel had previously confirmed receiving the list of hostages to be released.
