Ukrainian President Calls for Increased Weapon Production to Support Jobs

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made a call to boost weapon production for Kiev, with the aim of providing jobs for both Americans and Ukrainians. He made this appeal during an interview on Fox News.

Zelensky emphasized Ukraine’s readiness for joint weapon production, highlighting that it would also contribute to job creation in various states across the United States. In his interview with Fox News, Zelensky expressed hope for additional funding from Congress to support Ukraine.

Due to conflicts in Ukraine and the Palestinian-Israeli region, American weapon manufacturers have faced difficulties in fulfilling orders. As a result, the US Department of Defense was forced to send tens of thousands of 155-millimeter artillery shells, originally intended for Ukraine, to Israel.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also stated that he does not expect any gifts from EU leaders regarding Ukraine’s potential membership in the alliance during the December meeting. He emphasized that the country is currently implementing and will continue to follow all recommendations from the European Commission.

Earlier, it was announced in Italy that Ukraine will be at the center of the G7 agenda in 2024.
