Ukrainian Armed Forces Shell Russian Border Region, Governor Assures Assistance for Affected Residents

The armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) have shelled the Rylsk district in the Kursk region, according to a statement by the region’s governor, Roman Starovoit, in his Telegram channel.

The shelling targeted the village of Anatolyevka, with three impacts recorded and no casualties reported. However, windows, fences, and outbuildings in two homes were damaged. Starovoit has promised that the authorities will provide assistance to the affected property owners for the restoration of their belongings.

On November 19, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shelled the village of Nikolaevo-Darino in the Sudzhansky district of the region.

Prior to this, Starovoit reported that the AFU had used rocket projectiles to shell the Sudzhansky district, with impacts recorded near the village of Martynovka. On November 13, he also revealed that a Ukrainian drone had dropped ammunition in the village of Gornal in the Sudzhansky district.

Earlier, unmanned aerial vehicles named “Zhirinovsky” were spotted in the conflict zone.
